Welcome to Waratah Hockey Club
Waratah Hockey Club (Tahs) is one of the oldest and most successful clubs in the Darwin Hockey League and enjoys an active member base that encourages involvement in a range of activities.
Waratah’s offer some of the most competitive fees in the Darwin Hockey League to promote social inclusion and accessibility across the community. We’re able to do this through the hard work of volunteers, fundraising efforts, and the generous support of sponsors.
Our Club provides a fun, friendly and safe environment for hockey players and their families of all ages and abilities. Our athletes compete locally, nationally and internationally.
Opportunities to be a part of the Waratah Hockey Club are always welcome and can include participation in coaching and managing teams, fundraising, fitness, social activities, club management, and event and club sponsorship.
Why become a Tahs junior player?
Upon joining Waratahs, all new junior players receive a FREE playing shirt!
All junior players can also receive a free mouthguard through this NT Government initiative.
If a new junior is also under 8, they will receive a FREE stick pack as well! This includes 1x:
- stick bag
- hockey stick
- pair of shin pads
- hockey ball

Are you a non-playing supporter or parent/guardian wanting to keep up to date with club news?
Register for FREE as a social member! You'll receive all updates and correspondence players do.
This membership class also helps us record our supporter reach and increases grant and other funding opportunities, so tell all your friends & family to sign up and help us make our club even greater.
Social member registration is completed the same way as player registration.
