 Well, our first game of the season was indeed a game of two halves. We were a little unstructured in the first half, and limped off at half time 4 nil down to the premiers from last year. But resurrected in the second half to outscore St Mary’s Gold 3-1, and hence finished the game down by 2 goals. So there are good signs for building on, and we have a large group of enthusiastic players. Is now the time to mention the ‘training’ word?

 A special mention to Simon George who padded up in the absence of our expected keeper. A good work out for him prior to being seconded to keep for A Grade this week!
